Mother's Day Classic Committees
The Mother’s Day Classic offers more than brand engagement. We work with the Women in Super network, Industry Super and our corporate and community partners to find shared value; ways for organisations to meet their objectives as a business and impact on the lives of their staff and those battling breast cancer.
Organisations that are actively involved in the broader community see a number of benefits from long term sustainability, recognition as an employer of choice, increased staff morale, opportunities for staff professional and personal development, plus increased brand recognition and reputation within the community, improved ties with clients, access to new networks and so much more!
Through our volunteer committees we empower our volunteers to take on new skills and develop new networks by volunteering and getting involved. Whether it is dedicating their time to the organising committees or providing expert advice throughout the year, it all makes a difference to the cause and builds a culture within these organisations of giving back.

Each event has a local committee responsible for providing the local flavour at the event.

- Organisation of on-the-day activities such as kids activities, entertainers, vendors
- On-the-day
- Managing the stage / MC’s / VIPs / entertainers
- Managing volunteers
- Looking after sponsors
- Working alongside the Event Manager
The committees meet regularly generally each month starting from October and more frequently in the lead up to the event.
Become a part of an MDC Committee.
Besides the obvious outstanding networking opportunities, being on an MDC committee provides a wide range of benefits to committee members.
It’s an opportunity to expand your professional skill set, while at the same time helping to raise funds for breast cancer research.
