Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia is Patron of the Mother's Day Classic.
The Governor-General became patron in March 2009. She is a passionate supporter of the cause, and was a participant in the Brisbane event during her time as Queensland Governor. She is a regular participant in the walk in different states each year and in 2010, she walked in the Brisbane.
