Did you know that some of the earliest recorded descriptions of breast cancer date back to ancient Egypt? That’s right! In fact, in almost every period of recorded history, we can find evidence of breast tumours recorded by the physicians of the day. Throughout all this history, the occurrence of breast cancer has been met with research into its causes and potential cures.
Women in Super Mother's Day Classic has announced a donation of $3.1 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to fund key breast cancer research projects.
Congratulations to everyone who has registered for the 2015 Mother's Day Classic. This year to be environmentally friendly we have created electronic participation booklets. Included in these participation booklets are event details, timings, maps and helpful tips and hints for on the day. Please find below specific links to all major events. Many thanks for your support.

It is with great sadness that the Mother’s Day Classic and Women in Super (WIS) announce the passing of Mother’s Day Classic co-founder, Mavis Robertson AM. Ms Robertson, who died yesterday in Melbourne aged 84, was the driving force behind establishing what has become Australia’s largest fundraiser for breast cancer research, the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic.
We are pleased to introduce our new digital promotional video, capturing the true spirit of the Mother’s Day Classic.
