Sheree McLeod, Mother's Day Classic Community Champion and passionate supporter of breast cancer research, you built an amazing legacy and so many wonderful memories for your young family.
Sheree's personal breast cancer journey began in March 2011 and she became a strong supporter of the Mother's Day Classic. Sheree not only fundraised for the event but also created the team "GO TEAM McLEOD" recruiting family and friends to participate at various events across the country.
Over the years, Sheree raised an outstanding $25,951 and at the end of the 2014 campaign was announced a Classic Champion.
Sadly, Sheree recently lost her battle with advanced breast cancer in November. Sheree will always be remembered as an inspiration to all those who knew her and as a true champion of the cause.
Corrine Grant wrote a heartfelt article about Sheree's story which can be viewed here: http://thehoopla.com.au/fight/.
Sheree - bless you, your strength, your generosity and your family. You will be remembered as an inspiration to all! Much love from the Mother's Day Classic team Xx.
