The Batemans Bay event offers a 4km walk & 6km run.

If you can not participate, you can come along and support all walkers and runners and join in the entertainment and activity taking place around the course!

Race packs, race numbers & timing

This regional event has a relaxed feel and will not have electronic timing, and hence no race packs or bibs are required to be collected by participants.

You can just turn up on the day and walk or run!

9:00am On-the-day registrations open

9:55am Official welcome/minute silence
10:00am 6km run starts
11:00am 4km walk starts

The Course

The 6km run is a flat concrete footpath with minimal roads to cross from Corrigans Beach Reserve Batehaven. The turnaround point is at The Esplanade, then return.

The 4km walk is from Corrigans Beach Reserve, Batehaven, to the Helipad and return.


A Certificate of Participation will be available here on the Mother’s Day Classic website from Tuesday 16 May, 2017 for you to download and print!

Getting there

3km south from Batemans Bay CBD, along Beach Road.

There is plenty of parking.

Prizes and trophies

Three Holidays will be raffled along with various donated items. Tickets will be for sale prior to and on the day.

There will be prizes for:

  • Best dressed team 
  • Best dressed individual

Whilst we endeavour to provide all participants a 2017 medallion, they are subject to availability.
