Maggie can't be there but she's registering for the Mother's Day Classic

maggieMaggie can’t make it but she is keen to raise funds for breast cancer research.

“My mum was my first hero and role model, and has served as an inspiration to me all my life. I can't think of any better way to celebrate her life, and mother's day with my own two daughters, than by supporting the Mother's Day Classic. So many of us have been affected by breast cancer, whether a family member, friend, neighbour or colleague. The Mother's Day Classic not only raises vital funds for research into this far too common disease but raises awareness too. And it’s a tribute to the remarkable everyday women who have bravely fought and succumbed, and to those who have triumphed.

Make this Mother's Day a truly special one and register for an event, or like me for “I can’t be there but....

DuncanDuncan also can't be there but he's registering for "I can't be there, but..."

"Being an Ambassador for the Mother’s Day Classic is one of the most satisfying things I get to do each year.  My entire family now enjoys our very own Mother's Day tradition, alongside thousands of other BrisVegans, watching the sunrise at Southbank and stepping out to support so many girls who can’t.  It’s up to us to find a cure to stop our lovely ladies from leaving us too early because of breast cancer. So until we find that cure, the MDC will ALWAYS be an Armstrong family tradition in May."
