Registrations for the 2012 Mother’s Day Classic open on Tuesday 7 February. You can start fundraising as soon as you register.

As well as all national capital cities there are many regional events already confirmed. But if you can’t find a Mother’s Day Classic near you it’s not too late to start your own event. You have until Friday 16 March to get set.

The countdown to Sunday 13 May has commenced. See you there!

Mother’s Day Classic wins 2011 Australian Event Awards

The 2011 Mother’s Day Classic was awarded the Best Charity or Cause-Related Event at the prestigious third annual Australian Event Awards held in Sydney last Thursday night.

The Mother’s Day Classic is organised by Women in Super a national network of women in the superannuation and finance industries.

A RECORD $3 MILLION RAISED FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

Women in Super today announced that this year’s Mother’s Day Classic raised a record $3 million for breast cancer research. Today’s record announcement brings to $10.8 million the total funds raised by the Mother’s Day Classic since it commenced in 1998.

National Chair of the Mother’s Day Classic, Louise Davidson, thanked supporters for their generosity and dedication in raising record funds for the prevention and cure of breast cancer.

Congratualtions to our state highest fundraisers and everyone that participated in fundraising as part of the 2011 Mother's Day Classic. The money raised through fundraising goes directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and funding vital breast cancer research projects.

A record 120,000 Australians stepped out for breast cancer research in the annual Mother’s Day Classic walk and run on Sunday 8 May. The highest number of participants in the event’s 14 year history attended 37 different events held across the nation. You can find your run results here and your certificate of participation here.

Mother’s Day Classic wins NBCF Patron’s Pink Circle Award

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) awarded Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic the prestigious Pink Circle Award at a special ceremony hosted by Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, Governor-General, at Admiralty House on Monday 4 April. The award was given in recognition of Women in Super’s exceptional support of breast cancer research. The funds raised by the Mother’s Day Classic allow the NBCF to fund high quality research projects which investigate every aspect of breast cancer.
