The Mother's Day Classic Corporate Challenge is a great way for industry leaders to inspire and engage staff for an important cause that impacts just about every workplace.
Each year Corporate Australia attempt to outdo each other and top the MDC Boardroom Challenge. This year we saw CareSuper CEO Julie Lander locked in a ding-dong battle with Link Group CEO Suzanne Holden. Holden took the honours by less than $1000, between them these two inspirational women raised more than $40,000!
40 Australian women are diagnosed with breast cancer each day - the more we raise, the faster a cure can be found. We are looking forward to Australian businesses taking up the challenge and inspiring their staff to make a difference on Mother's Day.
Challengers will be required to register for the event at www.mothersdayclassic.com.au, tick Corporate Challenge participant and at that point set up their fundraising page to include a photo, and a brief explanation of why they are participating.
Challengers are encouraged to send an email out to their network to engage support.
The whole process is very straight forward, taking no more than 15 minutes. This is a small investment of time that could make an enormous difference.
A follow up email or two should be sent to Challengers' networks during the campaign (perhaps in late March and then again in late April/early May closer to the event) to maximise donations.
Will you take up the Challenge in 2018?
The Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.
