This photo shows my daughter Katie and my goddaughter Elisha umming and ahhing about whether to stop at the 4km or to continue on for the 8km. We did the Mothers Day classic in memory of my Mum and Katie's grandma who we lost to breast cancer in 1998 after a 2 year battle with the disease. We hope that by helping to raise money for Breast Cancer research, other families will not have to go through the trauma and ultimate devastation that our family experienced at losing my Mum when she was too young to go.
