My friends and I are very new to the Mothers Day Classic, starting our group 'Ellys Angels' in 2009 to support our wonderful friend Elly Roshan, who has been battling breast cancer for the past 10yrs. Our T-shirts are orange, Ellys favorite color, with Ellys Angels written on the front.
Most touching was that this year Elly decided to surprise us with her presence and she actually walked the first 4km of the 8km with our group. Even though she suffered the next few days for putting such pressure on her fragile body, her spirits were lifted and still are. Thank you to all of you for the fantastic effort of organizing such a special event.
