My daughter Sophie and I had a great morning participating in the 4km run in memory of my mother who died from breast cancer. We also celebrate my survival of 9 years after surgery, chemo and radiation in 2001. I believe there is always hope and look forward in my life at all times. The MDC inspires this belief as thousands of people gather to make this such a wonderful event.
