This is my photo from the MDC. As I am an American married to an Aussie, I was very excited to meet Julia and bring home a photo of me with my 'new mate'. Of course he got a real charge out it!
I did the 4k walk in memory of my friend JoDee who passed away this past March. She lived in the US and I was not able to go to the memorial service to celebrate her life with family and friends. So by doing the MDC I was able to have a way of doing something special in her memory and also it helped give me the closure I needed.
