Ruth and Bethany

I spent the morning with my beautiful daughter, Bethany on the 8 Km walk. After completing the first lap, I was reluctant to continue, but Bethany motivated me to continue. As our stride grew and we got into the rhythm we completed the second lap in no time at all. We took in all the sights as many were dressed to impress. Children were on parade in their strollers and the band rang out its tunes.

As we collected our breath we joined to queue to collect our showbags and then headed to our Sponsors tent for a well deserved coffee and a chance to meet up with friends.

We boarded the train home with a great sense of accomplishment and memories of the great time we had.
