Dragons Abreast Australia
Encouraging wellness, fitness, fun and camaraderie for breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating & promoting breast cancer awareness.
parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
For 2017 parkrun will be our community training partner, so if you’re looking for somewhere to get in shape for the Mother’s Day Classic, why not find a parkrun in your area.
Playgroup is for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and their parents or carers. In Victoria around 40,000 children from 30,000 families grow and learn at playgroups held at community venues such as maternal and child health centres, kindergartens, halls, community centres, primary schools, sporting clubs and aged care facilities.
Running Divas is an online women’s running community - Our passion and focus is providing the most comprehensive global online women’s running resources and specialised events, tailored for women by women of all ages and running ability that is literally ‘changing women’s lives one run at a time’. Running Mums Australia is an Australian wide running network for mums who love to run. Our aim is to encourage, equip and empower you, as a mum and a runner in your running journey. RMA has been created to champion the everyday woman. We believe that nothing is out of your reach, and together you can fulfil your dreams. Womensport & Recreation Tasmania Inc. (WSRT)
WSRT is a dynamic group dedicated to improving opportunities in sport and regular physical activity for women and girls.
One of our core activities is the Get Active Program which seeks to engage people of all ages who are not currently physically active, and who may have experienced barriers to physical activity such as lack of confidence and knowledge, and negative body image. WSRT also provides a representative voice influencing effective public policy in Tasmania.
Works to support people to change their lives, through the development of life skills that assist them to become happy and contributing individuals.
