ME – national partnership

ME has been the proud major sponsor of the Mother’s Day Classic for 11 years.

The Mother’s Day Classic holds a special place in the hearts of ME's staff. As well as participating in their local events, they continue to help raise additional funding toward breast cancer research. This year, more than $24,000 was raised from the sale of ME bandanas at Mother’s Day Classic events.

They’ve contributed not only though their support of the Mother’s Day Classic, but also through their employees’ donations and their EveryDay Transaction Account with Pink Debit MasterCard® initiative – a scheme that sees them give to the National Breast Cancer Foundation every time a customer makes a purchase with their card.

Since 2008, ME's combined contributions have raised more than $700,000 for breast cancer research.

Linfox - In kind support

Linfox have supported Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) for the past six years as an In-kind supporter/supplier. As such, they have donated their services to transport over 80 shipments of MDC signage, merchandise, bags and medallions to event organisers across Australia. The value of this service is a significant fundraising cost saving for MDC ensuring maximum funds can be contributed to breast cancer research. Linfox gained recognition of their support through the MDC website, newsletters and social media. Linfox also promoted its partnership with MDC through internal staff and corporate communications to reinforce their commitment to the community and breast cancer research.
