9:00am            3.9km run& walk

9:45am            Presentations commence (3.9km/7.3km run, team awards)

11:30am          Formalities finish

Event Precinct

Assembly area
The assembly area is located at Eastern Beach Reserve, Waterfront Geelong.

Information marquees
The information marquee is located in the assembly area. Please ask the volunteers or go to the information marquees if you are unsure of anything.

Tribute wall
Tribute cards can be downloaded here. A special Tribute Wall will be located at the event. Participants can choose to pin their tribute cards to the wall after their run or walk.

Lucrf Super Bag Drop

Clothing and bags may be left in the bag storage area located on Eastern Beach Reserve adjacent the finish line. Please use the tear off strip from your race number to attach to your backpack or clothing bag.

Please do not place valuables in the cloak room as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen. Bikes cannot be placed in cloak room.

The bag drop is sponsored by Lucrf Super.

First Aid
First aid stations will be located:

• Adjacent to the finish line on Eastern Beach reserve

If you require medical assistance while out on the course, please notify the nearest course marshal and they will contact the appropriate personnel to assist you.

Water Stations
Water stations will be located at the following points:
• 7.3km course: At 3.5km mark located on Upper Hearne Pde
• Adjacent to the finish line

Toilets
The toilets are located at the Geelong Life Saving Club building adjacent to The Boathouse Restaurant. There will also be toilets in the assembly area.

Baby change
There will be a baby change and feed marquee in the main assembly area.

Meeting places
Be sure you arrange a clear meeting place for your family or team. We recommend meeting in the assembly area. The start line will be very crowded and a difficult meeting place.

The Mother’s Day Classic includes lots of extra activities for kids and adults. These include warm-up aerobics, a food court, entertainment plus a kid’s activity area with a petting farm and face painting.

A number of delegates, celebrities and sponsors will be appearing / presenting on the main stage. The main stage will also be used for the memorial minute of silence, warm-up aerobics and team presentations.

FOOD

At the food court in the assembly area you will find a selection of food, coffee and drinks to enjoy including a Mother’s Day Classic BBQ.

No bikes can’t be ridden around the course, but they are a great way to get to the event. Make sure to bring a lock with you.

Parking
There will be parking available around the event, please just be mindful not to park on the course.

All participants receive a 2019 medallion.

Age category medals: mailed after the event 3.9km and 7.3km run winners for each age category. Age categories – U15, U18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Runner’s please note: Your results will be produced by net time. The timing tag attached to your race bib will record your official time from when you cross the start line until you cross the finish line. However, trophies will be awarded to the first three males and females in each event based on gun time. So, if you feel you have a chance of placing, please run in the first wave of your chosen distance.
