Course information

Participant marshalling area & start line at Missingham Amphitheatre

  • Moving north over Missingham Bridge towards Shaws Bay
  • Turning right down North Wall
  • Turning left at Lighthouse Pde
  • Turning left at Compton Drive, heading around Pop Denison Park
  • Turning left down Hill Street
  • Heading south over Missingham Bridge
  • Returning to the congregation area at Missingham Amphitheatre

On the day schedule

8:00am - On the Day Registrations Open
8:30am - Warm Up
8:45am - 2nd Warm Up & Best Dress Prizes awarded
8:55am - Runners go to starting point
9:00am - Runners head off
9:05am - Walkers head off

When all participants return to the Amphitheatre approx. 9:45am, coffee will be available to purchase

Getting there and parking

Parking
Please do not park in the Farmers' Market carpark.

There is ample on-street parking available in Bentinck Street and surrounding streets.

On the day facilities

The Check-in area
Check-in area located at the RIGHT-HAND picnic table shelter area. Look out for the pink Mother's Day Classic flag.

Toilets
Toilets are available behind the Amphitheatre staging area.

Fundraising 
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or via the SMS donation number (simply text MDC 0488 849 632).

First aid
All MDC Local events will have a qualified first aid officer on site.

Food, drink & entertainment
There will be a coffee cart available.
BYO water bottle - there are taps at the starting point and along the route to re-fill.

BBQ breakfast provided by Ballina-on-Richmond Rotary, a flower stall, entertainment, and the usual "best dressed" prizes.

Accessibility
Wheelchair and pram friendly.  

Dogs
All dogs/pets must be on leads.
