We are delighted to announce a Mother's Day Classic Local Location at Ballina!
Local locations will be smaller and more informal compared to traditional MDC events, but they will be big on community spirit!

Where: Missingham Bridge Amphitheatre - Kingsford Smith Drive, Ballina

From Missingham Park, participants will take the following route:

Head North over Missingham Bridge

RIGHT at Shaws Bay continuing down the North Wall

LEFT at Lighthouse Parade

LEFT at Compton Drive Continuing

LEFT around Pop Denison Park Returning over Missingham Bridge and back to the Amphitheatre

Parking is available in Bentinck Street or Kingsford Smith Drive

The Check-in area
Check-in area located at the RIGHT-HAND picnic table shelter area. Lookout for the pink Mother's Day Classic flags.

Toilets are available behind the Amphitheatre staging area.

On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or electronically via the SMS donation number (0488 849 632)

First aid
All MDC Local Locations will have a qualified first aid officer on site.

Food & drink
BYO water bottle - there are taps at the starting point and along the route to re-fill.

All dogs/pets must be on leads.

COVIDSafe statement: This event will be conducted in accordance with all COVIDSafe requirements and practices as determined by the state health department. A COVIDSafe checklist/plan has been completed for this event to ensure the safety of all participants.

MDC Local 

While this year will look a little different, you’ll still be able to dress up, complete your walk/run, honour those touched by breast cancer and enjoy the community spirit on the day. All you need to do is bring along your race pack (which will be delivered to your door beforehand), arrive at your assigned time, use your phone to scan the QR code at your location and complete one or two laps of the course. Don’t forget to share your happy snaps and tag #mdc2021!
