We are delighted to announce a Mother's Day Classic Local Location at Huskisson!
Local locations will be smaller and more informal compared to traditional MDC events, but they will be big on community spirit!

Parking/ getting there: Voyager Memorial park is located in the centre of town behind Huskisson RSL Club. Parking is available around town.

The course runs along the path from Voyager Memorial Park to Moona Moona Creek reserve and return.
One lap is 3km, to complete 6km participants complete 2 laps.
Public transport is limited. Participants are advised to check local timetables for further details.
Parking is available in car parks on Currambene, Owen, and Hawke Streets in Huskisson.
The Check-in area
The arrival/check-in zone can be found in Voyager Memorial Park between the playground and the voyager memorial. - lookout for the pink Mother's Day Classic flags.
Public toilets are located in Voyager Memorial Park near the arrival/check-in zone, along the course at White Sands Park and Huskisson Beach (between the two caravan parks), and at the turn around point at Moona Moona Creek.
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or electronically via the SMS donation number (0488 849 632)
All MDC Local Locations will have a qualified first aid officer on site.
Food & drink
We encourage our participants to support local businesses, especially those who are our biggest supporters like 5 Little Pigs, Husky Bakery, and Sandbar.
All dogs/pets must be on leads.

COVIDSafe statement: This event will be conducted in accordance with all COVIDSafe requirements and practices as determined by the state health department. A COVIDSafe checklist/plan has been completed for this event to ensure the safety of all participants.
While this year will look a little different, you’ll still be able to dress up, complete your walk/run, honour those touched by breast cancer and enjoy the community spirit on the day. All you need to do is bring along your race pack (which will be delivered to your door beforehand), arrive at your assigned time, use your phone to scan the QR code at your location and complete one or two laps of the course. Don’t forget to share your happy snaps and tag #mdc2021!
