Join your local community on Mother’s Day to support and honour those affected by breast cancer. Be a part of a small and passionate crowd with music, entertainment and plenty of community spirit! You’ll also receive a commemorative medallion, handed over with pride when you cross the finish line.

Course information

The 5km Walk and Run starts and ends at Westport Park, on Buller Street in Port Macquarie.

The course runs along the Hastings River, through Town Green and along the Breakwall, down to Town Beach and return.

On the day Schedule

7:00am to 8:30am - On the day registrations and bib collection commences for the 5km Run participants
8:30am - Official proceedings including Speakers/Ambassadors and Warm Up
9:00am - 5km Run Start
9:10am - 5km Walk Start

Getting there and parking

Parking: We encourage car pooling where possible. Parking available at public car park accessed via Park Street.

On the day facilities

Look out for the pink Mother's Day Classic flag.

Toilets
Toilets located adjacent to arrival zone.

Fundraising 
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or via the SMS donation number (simply text MDC 0488 849 632)

First aid
All MDC Local events will have a qualified first aid officer on site. 

Food & drink
BYO water in reusable bottles, use any available water dispensers at the site.
