NT - Darwin

Experience the true magic of the Mother's Day Classic with an event village, entertainment, food stalls and more! A race pack will be posted to you with a headscarf, race bib and tribute card to honour loved ones on the day at the tribute wall. You’ll also receive a commemorative medallion, handed over with pride when you cross the finish line.

Course information

Starting at East Point recreation reserve this 5km track takes you waterside past the Darwin Military museum and back again.

Getting there and parking

Getting there
To help reduce the risk of transmission of COVID 19 participants will be encouraged to physically distance. So, travel to and from the event by private vehicle is being strongly encouraged.

Parking
On-site parking and in surrounding streets. Please refer to local maps for specific details.

Public transport
Buses 4 and 6 have transport routes which pass near East Point Reserve, Darwin. Please confirm availability and frequency via local public transport providers or apps. If public transport is used participants are reminded to adhere to the COVID safe rules at the time. This includes wearing a mask and socially distancing where possible.

First aid
All MDC Local Locations will have a qualified first aid officer on site. First aid tent is located adjacent to the check in zone

Food & drink
BYO water in reusable bottles, use any available water dispensers at the site.

Dogs
Unfortunately no dogs allowed
