Getting There & Parking
Parking
Limited street parking is available around The Tan due to road closures. Paid parking sites are located around the Arts Centre precinct.
By Train
- The closest train station to the Event Village is Flinders Street Station, disembark at Flinders Street Station and take the Swanston Street exit from the station and turn right. You can also arrrive at Richmond Station and walk-up Swan Street to the start line.
Cycling to the event
- Bicycle parking will be available onsite. Please bring a lock. We cannot accept responsibility for bikes lost or stolen.
By Tram
- Tram Routes 1, 3/3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72 all travel down St. Kilda Road, disembark at the Federation Square/Swanston St stop and cross the road to Alexandra Gardens.
- Tram Routes 35, 70 and 75 travel down Swanston Street, disembark at the Swanston St and Flinders Street stop, cross over St Kilda Road and walk south towards Alexandra Gardens.

Accessibility
Course is wheelchair and pram friendly.
Event villages may have grassed areas. Please refer to maps for further information regarding village accessibility.

The Check-in area
Look out for the pink Mother's Day Classic flags.
Bag drop - The Langham, Melbourne Cloak Room
There will be a baggage storage area onsite where you can leave your belongings. Please do not leave any valuables in the storage area as we will not be responsible for goods lost or stolen.
Toilets
Toilets will be made available for use within the Event Village and around the course. Signage and information on toilet locations will be made available to participants, look out for directional signage or ask one of our friendly staff members for directions if required.
Fundraising
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or via the SMS donation number (simply text MDC to 0488 849 632).
First Aid
First Aid will be located within the Event Village and around the course. If you need assistance please advise one of our staff members within the event village or course.
