We are delighted to announce a Mother's Day Classic Local Location at the Supreme Court Gardens in Perth!

Please note: This event was previously listed as Langley Park, and while the course is largely unchanged the arrival zone has now changed to Supreme Court Gardens.


Local locations will be smaller and more informal compared to traditional MDC events, but they will be big on community spirit!

Getting there
To help reduce the risk of transmission of COVID 19 participants will be encouraged to physically distance. So, travel to and from the event by private vehicle is being strongly encouraged.

Parking
On-street or outdoor paid parking is available. Please refer to local maps for specific details.

Public transport
Elizabeth Quay Train Station within 1.5km, Perth Train Station within 1.5km, Transperth Bus Stop within 750m. If public transport is used participants are reminded to adhere to the COVID safe rules at the time. This includes wearing a mask and socially distancing where possible.

The Check-in area
Look out for the pink Mother's Day Classic flags.

Toilets
Toilets located adjacent to the check in area close to the route starting point.

Fundraising 
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or electronically via the SMS donation number (0488 849 632)

First aid
All MDC Local Locations will have a qualified first aid officer on site. First aid is located adjacent to the check in zone.

Food & drink
BYO water in reusable bottles, use any available water dispensers at the site, no water stations will be provided.
Please bring your own snacks and support your local food and beverage businesses on your way to the site and/or on your way home.

Dogs
Pets are allowed on leash.

COVIDSafe statement: This event will be conducted in accordance with all COVIDSafe requirements and practices as determined by the state health department. A COVIDSafe checklist/plan has been completed for this event to ensure the safety of all participants.

MDC Local 

While this year will look a little different, you’ll still be able to dress up, complete your walk/run, honour those touched by breast cancer and enjoy the community spirit on the day. All you need to do is bring along your race pack (which will be delivered to your door beforehand), arrive at your assigned time, use your phone to scan the QR code at your location and complete one or two laps of the course. Don’t forget to share your happy snaps and tag #mdc2021!
