Clunes VIC



The Clunes event involves two distances, a 3km and 6km walk.

If running or walking isn't your thing then you can still join in the fun of the day by volunteering to help out.

Alternatively you can come along and support all walkers and runners and join in the entertainment and activity taking place around the course. 

Remember to fill in a tribute card to wear on the day in memory of a loved one or with words of encouragement to someone currently undergoing treatment. Create your tribute card here.

Information for Runners and Walkers

Toilets will be available at the start of the race. Facilities for safety of valuables (keys, etc) and clothing.

How to register: 

Register on the day from 8.30am


  • Adult - $20
  • Student / Health Card holder - $12
  • Child (16 years and under) - $10
  • Family (2 adults and up to 4 children) - $50
  • Family (1 adult and up to 4 children) - $30


Start times: 

On the day registrations open at 8.30am

Walk starts at 9.00am

The course: 

The course will be a 3km course. Those wishing to do 6km may do the course twice

Assembly area will be at the Clunes RSL Building in Fraser Street, Clunes

6km walk - Participants will walk a 3km circuit through the township twice

3km walk - Participants wishing to complete this lesser distance will complete just one circuit throught the township

Getting there: 

The RSL Hall is situated in the main street of Clunes

Event day information: 
  • Please note dogs are not allowed at this event
  • Medallions are subject to availability on the day
Activities at the event: 

The RSL will hold a sausage sizzle and Devonshire Teas will be available

Important information: 

Medallions at the end of the course subject to availability

Please note that regional event participants wont receive race packs. As the regional events have a more relaxed feel you can just turn up on the day and walk or run!
