With 53 women still diagnosed every single day, we need your help now more than ever. Research is the only way that we can understand more about the cause and development of breast cancer.
All proceeds received from fundraising go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) who have funded over 534 research projects to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
Whether you choose to fundraise online or host an event with family and friends, you can help improve the lives of those living with breast cancer – now and in the future. Every dollar you raise helps us get that bit closer to finding a cure.
Every dollar helps, even a donation of $25 can contribute in supporting researchers to analyse huge amounts of genetic data. This could allow them to pinpoint specific genes that lead to the most common types of breast cancer. By asking friends and family for $25, you can make a significant impact this year.
A portion of your registration fee goes to the NBCF for breast cancer research but it also covers the cost of hosting close to 100 events across the country, including but not limited to; insurance, infrastructure, traffic and event management, council fees, signage and waste management. We rely on sponsorship, in-kind support and volunteers in order to help subsidise these costs so we can maximise our donation to research. This is why fundraising is so important and makes the biggest impact in help to reach the goal of stopping deaths from breast cancer.
All donations and proceeds from Mother’s Day Classic fundraising go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a 100% community funded organisation. The National Breast Cancer Foundation invests in innovative world-class research and works towards zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
