About Mother's Day Classic

Get ready to get moving. Australia’s largest national fun run and walk, The Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic, is coming. Dedicated to stopping breast cancer and ovarian cancers in their tracks, this walk is a way to honour the 12 women we lose each day to these deadly diseases.

Since 1998, the Mother’s Day Classic has grown from a walk in the park to an iconic event in the life of Australian women. In 2024 we will be hosting up to 100 events across the country on Sunday, May 12 – making it a Mother’s Day to remember.

Over 1.5 million Australians have joined the Mother’s Day Classic. With your help, we can make this year the greatest yet. One day, no woman will die from breast or ovarian cancers. Until then, we walk, run and move till we’re done.

We’ve already donated $44 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to fund world-class breast cancer research. This year we are expanding our impact to include ovarian cancer research by supporting the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation as well. 

By supporting these two leading research organisations, focussing on two of the biggest killers of women in Australia, we are helping all Australians fight for women's lives.
