On Sunday 11 May, Alexa is doing her longest run ever - the 12km Mother's Day Classic (with her mother) to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers. This is a cause close to Alexa's heart, as both her grandmothers have been affected by breast cancer.
Tragically, every day in Australia 63 women are diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.
