SUPPORTING Breast Cancer Research
No one goes unscathed!
When I was growing up, I never heard or had anyone close to me be diagnosed with cancer or have a scare - or so I thought, until my mom was told she had cancer cells in her ovaries and she was taken in for a full hysterectomy mid 40's. But over the years, I have not only heard about friends and family been diagnosed or experiencing a scare - I have been in the same boat and it rocked me to the core. Thankfully in my situation it was a scare, but something to be mindful of but others around me have not been as lucky and that impacts me just as much on the inside! And this is the reason for me signing up - with the support of my husband to walk for those that have been impacted, are being impacted and may be impacted in the future - and the family and friends that support them every step of the way.Support my efforts in the 2025 Mother's Day Classic!
On Sunday 11 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.
Tragically, every day in Australia 63 people diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.
I’m asking you to do more than just stand with me but to support me as I walk, run, and move till we’re done.
Please make a donation today to support my challenge. There’s only one way to stop breast and ovarian cancers - together!
