Support my efforts in the 2025 Mother's Day Classic!
On Sunday 11 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m joining the Mother's Day Classic run this year to support my favourite aunt as she bravely fights against breast cancer.
I had many of my core childhood memories with her as I remember her playing with the three of us (me and my sisters). She would send me to school and pick me up, treat us to whatever we wanted to eat and sometimes sneakily buy us toys. She really is the cool and chill aunt that is so very playful and cheeky.
Now as an adult she still refuses to let me treat her to a meal or buy gifts for her. I hope that she will be very happy and recharged with energy when she hears about this fundraising gift. She is facing her diagnosis with so much positivity, determination and resilience. I am so so proud of her.
There is little I can do as I am physically away from home, but I hope fundraising to support cancer research can provide the light and hope for many people on a similar journey as my aunt.
