Tickets and Registration

Registration process
Can I register onsite on the day?
We recommend registering online well before event day to take advantage of early bird savings and be eligible for fantastic prizes and competitions in the lead up to Mother’s Day.
If the event is heavily subscribed, you may need to wait for an available wave. Check out the events page, as we will highlight which start times and distances have reached capacity. Check here for on the day pricing.
To be sure of your place on Mother’s Day we’d encourage you to register now to avoid any disappointment.
Why do you require a unique email address for Adult tickets?
Our registration system uses your email address to match you to a previously existing account and your participation history. It also enables participants to log into, manage and share their fundraising page with their friends and family.
We will also reach out via your email to let you know about any event updates or changes!
To avoid issues with your registration, make sure you have a valid email address for yourself and any additional adult you wish to register. Child and concession tickets can be managed under an adult account.
Why should I activate my registration?
Activating your registration means you will be able to:
- Update your personal details and emergency contact.
- Access your fundraising page to start sharing with family and friends.
- Receive fundraising support.
- Write a personal message of support on your fundraising page.
- Earn achievement badges.
- Appear on your team’s page.
- Be eligible for competitions.
- Keep informed on key event details in the lead up to the event.
- Download resources.
I’m having trouble registering, please help.
1. Are you using a unique email address for all adult or unmanaged ticket holders? Our registration system stores emergency contacts and other important ticket details against each unique email address. Email addresses are not required for children or concession tickets – simply tick the box I wish to manage this account if they don't have an email.
2. Have you tried registering on another device or browser? (eg. Chrome to Firefox or Mircrosoft Edge) Our team can be limited in assisting with device or browser issues, so ruling this out can be super helpful. When using another device (such as mobile) or browser, log in using your email address and password when prompted – your previously entered details will be shown once you log in.
3. Are you seeing any error messages highlighted in red preventing you from moving onto the next step? Try inputting a new answer in the highlighted entry field. It may be that your chosen start time has sold out or that the entered year of birth doesn’t fit the criteria for a child’s ticket; or simply that the field is still blank and needs a answer / selection!
If you’re still experiencing issues with your registration, please fill out this form with details of what the issue is. Our customer service team will be in contact with you during business hours to assist.

Ticket pricing
Why are tickets to run more expensive than walk tickets at Major Events?
All Major events (Melbourne, Geelong, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Parramatta and Canberra) include official timing services for runners, included in the price of their ticket. This is facilitated via chips attached to the race bibs, providing personal race times via SMS and online, along with a downloadable certificate!
Why is postage/handling for race bibs not included in the ticket price?
Participants who purchase a ticket by Thursday 17th of April will have their bib automatically posted to them.
To keep ticket prices affordable for all Mother’s Day Classic participants we have capped this cost to $13 when buying multiple tickets in the same purchase and $6.50 when purchasing a single ticket.
If you purchase a ticket by Thursday 27th of March your bib will also be personalised with your name at no additional cost!
Do I need to purchase a ticket for a child under three?
You are not required to register a child under the age of 3, bring them along on the day!
Child ticket registrations are only required for children aged 3-12.
