Life can change in an instant.

This photo was taken just days before I received my breast cancer diagnosis. When the photographer handed me the prints, my life had already changed. What was meant to be a simple photoshoot became something else — a reminder of the life I had before.

Breast cancer touches so many of us — mothers, daughters, sisters, friends. Early detection, research, and support save lives, but they need our help.

This Mother’s Day, I’m walking in the Mother’s Day Classic to raise awareness and support life-saving research.

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research.
