On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.

I’m taking part in the Mother’s Day Classic in Darwin to raise funds and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer, in support of close friends and family in my life who have been affected.

A 5km is not exactly in my natural skill set, but I do occasionally manage a walk/run at Parkrun, so I know I can get through it. I’m giving it a crack for people I care deeply about and who have been through a lot.

Every donation helps fund research, awareness and support for those affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
