On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.

On Sunday 10 May, we are running the Mother’s Day Classic 4km to help raise money for breast and ovarian cancer research. This is our second year participating in this important event. Every day in Australia, 63 people are diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.

Almost three years ago, we lost a very special lady to ovarian cancer. We miss her every day, and this run is our way of honouring her and helping other families who are walking the same tough road.

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research.
