On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.
Tragically, every day in Australia 63 people diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.
I started running just over a year ago and it has helped me becoming fitter, both physically and mentally. This will be my second attempt at a 21kms half marathon, the first on my own. I am wanting to run for this great cause because it shouldn’t exist. I’m running for all our Mothers, Sisters and Grandmothers.
Help me to raise money to fight breast and ovarian cancer. As women we are all affected by breast cancer and ovarian cancer, so don’t ‘hope’ for a cure, fund it. Every little helps.
