Start and Finish Line: Fort Hill Parklands
The 5km course will start at the Fort Hill Parklands, near the Deckchair Cinema. Participants will progress via Kitchener Drive to Darwin’s oldest road (Hughes Avenue) through the shady canopy of raintrees to the Esplanade and loop back through Bicentennial Park finishing back at Fort Hill Parklands.
The 2km course offers a scenic and leisurely stroll around the Darwin Waterfront Precinct, providing a perfect path for participants with wheelchair and pram access.
Getting There & Parking
The Darwin Waterfront Precinct is an easy five-minute walk from Darwin city.

- Anchorage Court – 1 space
- Kitchener Drive multi-storey car park

Route 14 of the Darwin public bus network services the Darwin Waterfront Precinct.
Bibs can be collected onsite on Saturday, 11th May from 12:00pm – 4:00pm.
Bibs will be available for collection on event day, Sunday 12th. Please arrive early and leave ample time to collect your race bib.

You can check in and register onsite the day prior. Saturday 11th May from 12:00pm – 4:00pm) and the morning of the event from 6:00am – 7:00am.
Portable toilets will be available at the Fort Hill Parklands including disability bathrooms available at the Darwin Waterfront.
On the day you'll be able to donate funds via the collection tins or via the SMS donation number (simply text MDC to 0488 849 632).
First aid tent is located within the event village.
