Boobnook and Bean

Supporting Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research

Support our efforts in the 2026 Mother’s Day Classic!

Katherine, owner of Adelaide coffee shop Booknook & Bean, credits Breast Cancer Research for the excellent treatment she’s been receiving for the Stage 3 breast cancer she was diagnosed with last July. She knows it’s provided her with the best outcome possible, and her prognosis is good.

She completed chemotherapy in February and radiotherapy in April. Since then she’s been building strength to walk 4k at the Mother’s Day Classic. Her crew at Booknook & Bean and a group of her friends will walk with her in this team cheekily named after the coffee shop.

Katherine wants to express her gratitude for the care she’s received by raising as much as possible for Breast Cancer Research Australia.

We’d love to hit our target of $1k, or even to surpass it — and will be grateful for any donations received!

Together the Mother’s Day Classic community has donated...
