Running for Grandma 🤍
Hi, I’m Evie 👧💗
Every year, my mummy and I take part in the Mother’s Day Classic to raise money for breast cancer research and support.
We do this in memory of my grandma, who we lost to breast cancer. I didn’t get to meet her, but mummy tells me how special she was, and this is our way of keeping her close while helping other families.
On race day, mummy doesn’t just run… she runs with me on her back! 💪 She’s been doing lots of “piggyback training” to get strong enough to carry me some of the way, but I also love doing some running myself! It’s so much fun and well worth the early morning wake up!
This cause means so much to us. We’re raising money so that more mums, daughters, and families can have more time together.
