I'm putting my foot down to stop breast cancer in its tracks!
Support our efforts in the 2024 Mother’s Day Classic!
On Mother’s Day 2024 our team will be running in support of our beautiful mum.
We hope that by running in the Mother’s Day Classic we can contribute towards vital breast cancer research. Far too many people’s lives are touched by this ferocious disease and we are forever grateful to the people researching, treating and supporting those who have been touched by breast cancer. We feel privileged to be able to run for our mum and all those who can’t, due to this disease!
Watching our mum battle breast cancer twice, and now terminal metastatic breast cancer has been the most heartbreaking experience - for our mum, her children, her family and her friends.
Throughout mum’s whole experience with breast cancer, she has remained so strong, so brave and so filled with love and joy. She is an inspiration and the light in all of our lives.
While we run, mum will be doing her favourite thing in the world - playing with her grandchildren…and then waiting on the finish line for us. We can’t wait to squeeze her at the finish line and enjoy a delicious post-run Mother’s Day brunch, celebrating the incredible mum and nanna that is our Jodes!
