Supporting Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research
Support our efforts in the 2026 Mother’s Day Classic!
Our team is participating in the Mother's Day Classic, Sunday 10 May!
Each year, the Mother’s Day Classic is filled with thousands of stories—of strength, love, loss, and hope. This year, ours is one of them.
In the past, I’ve walked alone, taking on the challenge as a personal endurance—time to think, to reflect, and to push forward for a cause that means so much. But this year, it’s not about going it alone. It’s about walking together.
This year, I’ll be joined by my partner Josy, my sister in-law Olivia, her partner Claude and our kids. Side by side, step by step, we’re doing this as a family—because this journey, like so many others touched by breast and ovarian cancer, is one that reaches far beyond one person. It weaves its way through families, friendships, and everyday life.
We walk in memory of Vicky, my wife—an incredible woman whose love, warmth, and strength shaped our world in ways that words will never fully capture. She had a way of bringing people together, of making ordinary moments feel special, and her presence is something we carry with us every single day. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in our family, in our memories, and in the way we choose to keep moving forward.
We also walk for our dear friend Kelly, who is currently undergoing treatment. Watching someone you care about face cancer is both heartbreaking and inspiring. Kelly continues to show immense courage and resilience, taking each day as it comes, and reminding us all of the importance of hope, support, and never feeling alone in the fight.
There are moments that are heavy, moments that stop you in your tracks—but also moments of connection, reflection, and deep gratitude for the people we love.
Walking together this year means everything. It means showing our kids what it looks like to stand up for something bigger than ourselves. It means turning love, grief, and hope into action. And it means believing in a future where research leads to better treatments, better outcomes, and ultimately, a cure.
Every step we take carries their names. Every donation helps carry that hope forward.
Thank you for walking this journey with us.
