Theresa's first charity run!

I have registered two people for this race. One for me and one for an amazing woman named Theresa- my mother.

She is a woman who means the world to me.

A woman who has shaped me and continues to guide me.

She was always generous, courageous and looked cancer straight in the eye and never gave it the satisfaction- even at the end. She is one of the guiding principles to me for how to be a man- how to be her son.

She is with me every day and on the 10th of May she will be running a 10km with me- because even in death she's going to flip a big F you to cancer.

For a woman who used to be a basketball athlete in China and tried to escape communism by swimming across an ocean- a 10km run is child's play. Me on the other hand 😅.

We are excited to get training, raise some money and for Theresa's first charity run!

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research. AIA Australia has proudly supported the Mother’s Day Classic since 2018.
