On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m taking part in the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast and ovarian cancers.
I’m running for my beautiful mum. My heart is broken, and I’m doing this in your memory on a day you should still be here to share with us. You were everything to us. You fought ovarian cancer with incredible courage, strength, and grace—an inspiration to everyone around you. Even in the hardest moments, you showed nothing but love, resilience, and bravery. I’m so proud to be your daughter, and I run to honour you.
I’m also running in memory of my mother-in-law, who we lost to breast cancer. For my three children, who were robbed of their beautiful grandmothers, and for my husband, who was robbed of his mum.
This run is for all of you. 🤍
