SUPPORTING Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research

On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.

I’m joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.

Tragically, every day in Australia 63 people diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.

On Sunday 10 May, I’ll be doing something I never thought possible a few years ago, taking part in the 10km run at the Mother's Day Classic Geelong.

It’s been a long and difficult journey to reach this point, especially after everything our family went through in 2023 while I was pregnant, but I’m hopeful and ready to take on this next challenge. I’ll be running alongside my husband Trevor, while my mum, now in her 70s, will be walking the 5km course with our eldest son.

Taking part together makes this experience incredibly personal for our family as we honour Trevor’s mum and celebrate how far we have come as a family.
