On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m running my first ever half marathon at the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.
My mother passed away in January 2023 and every day in Australia 63 people are diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer. I’m running for:
- my mum, Wendy
- my Aunty Lyn
- my Aunty Jill
- my grandmother Winnie
- all the other inspirational women in my life impacted by breast cancer
21.1km is really far… I’m asking you to do more than just stand with me but to support me as I walk, run, and move till we’re done.
