Every day in Australia, 9 people lose their lives to breast cancer. It touches our besties, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, aunties, friends and the people we love most.

Many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 with no family history. That moment changed my life and gave me a mission. I made a promise to Catherine that I would do everything I could to raise awareness and vital funds so that by the time she turns 25 in 2030, we are closer to a world with zero deaths from breast cancer.

For the past 13 years Iā€™ve proudly been aĀ  Community Ambassador for the Motherā€™s Day Classic. Every Motherā€™s Day, the Murdoch's lace up our shoes and pound the pavement to honour that promise.

My cancer was found by ultrasound, not a mammogram, which is why Iā€™m also passionate about educating women to include ultrasound in their regular breast checks.

Breast cancer started with me in our family, and I want it to finish with me.

I made a promise to my daughty that I would do everything I could to help end deaths from breast cancer. If youā€™re able to support me in keeping that promise, I would be incredibly grateful.
