Eight years ago, I signed up for the Mother’s Day Classic knowing how powerful it could be. Seven years ago, I asked my daughter to join me because I wanted to share that experience with her.
Since then, it’s become one of the most meaningful traditions we have. Each year we lace up in honour of the women and families impacted by breast and ovarian cancers, and in support of the research that’s changing outcomes across Australia.
Every day, 12 lives are lost to these diseases. That’s why we keep showing up. Because progress happens when we all play a part.
