SUPPORTING Ovarian Cancer Research
On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.
I’m taking part in the Mother’s Day Classic to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer research.
This cause is really important to me. Someone close to me only discovered they had ovarian cancer by chance during surgery for something else, and this early detection is likely a big part of why they are still here today. Most people aren’t that lucky. Because symptoms are often vague and there’s currently no reliable screening test, ovarian cancer is usually diagnosed at a much later stage.
That’s why research into earlier detection, better treatments, and prevention is so important.
I’ll be running 6km to help raise funds, and I would love your support. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference
