On Sunday 10 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.

I’m taking part in the Mother’s Day Classic in honour of Maria, who we lost just four weeks ago to breast cancer. She was an incredible fighter who never let her diagnosis define her life, and her strength and determination are qualities I deeply admire. I’m walking to celebrate her spirit, remember the joy she brought to those around her, and to help make a difference for others facing this disease.

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research. AIA Australia has proudly supported the Mother’s Day Classic since 2018.
