Community Engagement Committees
Join a community engagement committee to help shape the Mother's Day Classic event in one of our Major Event locations - Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Geelong, Gold Coast, Canberra, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.
Our Community Engagement Committees bring together people who want to play a bigger role in their local Mother’s Day Classic.
You could help connect with local schools, clubs and community groups, recruit and engage volunteers, build relationships with local businesses, create fundraising opportunities or help shape the entertainment and experiences that make Event Day special.
You don’t need to be an event professional. You might bring local connections, people skills, creativity, fundraising or partnership experience — or simply know your community and want to make a meaningful contribution.
You’ll work as part of a team, with support, resources and guidance from MDC and your Event Manager — all while building valuable skills, growing your professional networks, and making a meaningful contribution to your local community.
