The Lindy Cap is named in honour of Lindy Spicer who is an ovarian cancer survivor of more than 30 years and has been a volunteer, participant and ambassador of both the Mother's Day Classic and the OCRF, while also raising over $100,000 for ovarian cancer research through her White Shirt Morning Teas.

The Lindy Cap is made from soft washed cotton twill, with embroidered Mother's Day Classic text on front and MDC daisy embroidery on back left panel. Also features light gold metal clasp at back for adjustability.

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research. AIA Australia has proudly supported the Mother’s Day Classic since 2018.
