SUPPORTING Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research
I'm joining the 2026 Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.
In 2024 I underwent treatment for invasive ductal carcinoma, which took a significant toll on my life as well as those closest to me. Since then I have heard many more stories from women and their families who have had to go through similar experiences, and some have been more fortunate than others.
I am grateful for the dedicated funding for research into these cancers and the difference it has makes to the treatment, health and future outlook of people like me.
My family and I walked in last year’s Mother’s Day Classic for the first time. This year, although I’m continuing to deal with the ongoing effects of cancer medication, I can’t wait to take part again in support of raising funds and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer.
