SUPPORTING Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research
We're too young!
This will be my third year running the Mothers Day Classic, and this year it's more important to me than ever. Two years ago, I heard the words that I would wish upon anyone, I'm sorry, it's Cancer.
These four words rocked my world. And while I'm out of the active treatment, I'm still medicating daily and the side effects are rough, I might be 36, but I feel 56!
To top things off, I've heard of 3 other young women in my 6 degrees of separation that have undergone treatment after me, or are just starting treatment. These young women are mothers of young children, or are wanting to be mothers in the very near future. But why are more and more young women being diagnosed with Breast Cancer? Donate to help the research! Let's make Breast Cancer a thing of the past so we can enjoy our younger years and stop looking over our shoulders wondering if we'll be next!
